A website open to everyone
Accessibility
Commitment, website features and how to report any access issues. Last updated: 18 August 2026.
1. Commitment
The Parish of Sant’Agabio aims to make the website accessible to as many people as possible, regardless of ability, device, technology used or method of interaction.
2. Framework
In the development and revision of the website, the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) are taken into account, with particular attention to the Level AA criteria of version 2.2.
For private entities, the formal obligations set out in Italian Law No. 4/2004 and the AgID guidelines apply in the cases specified by the legislation. This page describes the website’s commitment and current status and must not be interpreted as a formal declaration of AgID compliance where such compliance is not applicable or has not been achieved.
3. Current status
The website has been designed with numerous accessibility-oriented features, but an independent audit of the entire portal has not yet been completed. For this reason, full compliance with a specific WCAG level is not declared.
4. Measures taken
- a link to skip directly to the main content;
- semantic structure and heading hierarchy on the main pages;
- keyboard-accessible navigation and focus indication;
- responsive layout and the ability to zoom without intentional blocking;
- alternative text for informational images where available;
- labels associated with form fields and text messages;
- attention to contrast, legibility and the size of controls;
- reduction of animations when the device indicates a preference for this;
- language attribute in Italian, English and French versions.
5. Known limitations
Some historical documents, PDFs, images containing text, content added via the CMS or third-party resources may not be fully accessible. Translations and content added over time also require periodic checks.
Where content is found to be inaccessible, the Parish will endeavour, within reasonable and technically feasible limits, to provide an alternative or to rectify the issue.
6. Reporting issues
To report an accessibility issue, please indicate, where possible, the relevant page, the problem encountered, the device/browser used and any assistive technology utilised.

7. Continuous improvement
Accessibility is reviewed whenever new pages, forms, documents or features are added to the Members’ Area. Editors are encouraged to use descriptive headings, alternative text, clear links and readable content.
