1926 · 2026
One hundred years of faith, memory and community. In September 2026 Sant’Agabio celebrates the centenary of the consecration of its parish church.
On 9 September 1926 the church was consecrated by Bishop Giuseppe Castelli. One hundred years later, the community gathers to remember, give thanks and continue the journey.

A date that became memory
The memorial plaque recalls the completion of the building and its consecration on 9 September 1926 by Bishop Giuseppe Castelli. The Centenary begins with this memory and looks to the future of the community.
A century of worship, pastoral life, art, restoration, encounters and service to the neighbourhood: the church continues to be a house of prayer and a place of belonging for generations of people from Sant’Agabio.

100 years in five stages
Some milestones in the history of the church show how this building became one of the most recognisable and cherished places in the neighbourhood.
